Please describe the creative process and inspiration behind the single?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Conor: At the time I wrote the lyrics I was just sick and tired of constantly seeing depressing stuff on the news and a lot of the people I was surrounded by at the time being really negative. So I wrote Whistler as a fantasy of escaping from that environment to a better place.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/DqvZPyQ10UM\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Everyone experiences good days and bad days, as a musician, when you have a bad day, what motivates you to keep moving and look ahead to the future?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Conor: Songwriting; I try to stream my negative emotions into writing and if I manage to write something cool that describes how I\u2019m feeling at that time then it makes me feel a lot better. And just keeping my faith in the music we\u2019ve made. If I\u2019m having a bad day musically, I try to step back and go and do something else, like watching a film or reading.<\/p>\n<p>Jack: I tend to take a break if I\u2019m not happy with my playing or whatever it may be at the time. I\u2019d rather come back to it than to sit in a negative mind set.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In your own opinion, what is the most meaningful song you wrote? What makes you say that one?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Conor: Probably Let Go, I wrote that about the passing of someone very close to me.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Throughout your musical career, have you experienced any \u2018wow\u2019 moments? We\u2019ve got a bunch of releases planned for all the music we\u2019ve been working on throughout lockdown which we\u2019re super hyped to put out there.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Did you learn any new skills during lockdown?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Conor: No skills in particular come to mind, but I definitely feel like I learned a lot about myself and the importance of taking time out to chill.<\/p>\n<p>Jack: I took the opportunity to learn Ableton Live and worked on putting together a live set. So that, once we\u2019re able to, put on the strongest performance we can.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Anything else you would like to add?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We really hope you enjoy our new single Whistler!
