Then myself, MNEK and Ryan Ashley went back and forth on the lyrics.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A sultry, soul-drenched love song, \u2018Interruption\u2019 pairs Tiana\u2019s alluring vocals with a production that draws inspiration from the early-2000s golden era of R&amp;B. The seductive official video, brought to life by renowned stylist Leah Abbott (Skepta, Jorja Smith) and esteemed filmmaker and creative director Sheena Brobbey &#8211; further accentuates the classic R&amp;B vibe. \u2018Interruption\u2019 marks the first single release from her forthcoming mixtape, which is scheduled for release this June.<\/p>\n<p>Surrounded by a melting pot of musical influences from a young age, Tiana had an unashamed love for 90\u2019s RnB, inspired by the likes of Brandy, Monica and 702, she burst onto the scene last year with the empowering \u2018Cut Ties\u2019, her acclaimed debut single that has amassed over 2 million Spotify streams and garnered support from the likes of gal-dem, Wonderland, TRENCH, Nation of Billions, DUMMY and more. This was followed up by the similarly well received \u2018Hit The Spot\u2019 and \u2018Monday\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Fellow South Londoner MNEK has worked alongside some of the biggest names in the industry, including Little Mix, Dua Lipa, Beyonc\u00e9 and Clean Bandit.
