Who or what ignited your passion for music and drove you to pursue it as a career?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve been singing my whole life, but it wasn\u2019t until 2020 that I decided to actually start making music and writing. I always thought it wasn\u2019t for me: I had this whole pessimistic mindset, thinking my voice wasn\u2019t \u201cspecial\u201d enough and that writing songs was just something I couldn\u2019t do. My first real push to start writing came from the simple goal of having just one song of my own to play for my future kids\u2026 And, well, that dream quickly snowballed into something much bigger [laughs]. It wasn\u2019t until two years ago that I took the leap and left my full-time job to fully dive into my music career, and honestly, that was the
\nbest decision I\u2019ve ever made for myself.<\/p>\n

How would you describe your sound in a way that sets you apart from the crowd, and why <\/strong>do you think it resonates with listeners?<\/strong><\/p>\n

What sets me apart is the raw honesty in my music: it\u2019s not just about catchy beats and poppy hooks (though those are definitely there), but more about opening up and inviting you into my world. I blend (Dark) Pop, R&B, and Afropop in a way that feels personal and unfiltered. It\u2019s all about creating a space where we can vibe, let go, and process our emotions together, free from judgment. I\u2019m not afraid to get real about the highs, the lows, and everything in between, and I want my listeners to feel like they\u2019re not navigating it alone. My music should be more than just something you listen to; it should feel like a conversation you’re having with a friend who truly understands.<\/p>\n

Your latest release, \u2018Libralicious\u2019<\/a> is making waves on all major platforms! Can you take us <\/strong>behind the scenes of its creation and share the story or feelings that inspired it?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve seen so many TikToks<\/a> about never going back to an ex, but let\u2019s be real: we\u2019ve all thought about it, right? Sure, people will call you a fool, but honestly, even if it doesn\u2019t work out, it\u2019s part of your journey. All experiences shape where you\u2019re meant to be, and that\u2019s what I believe in. As I said, I\u2019m not playing when I say “creating a space free from judgment.” So, when I got into the studio with my producer, Zender, we started cooking up ideas, and I knew I wanted to write about romanticizing the idea of going back to an ex.<\/p>\n

My ex is a Libra, and with the whole balance thing, I started thinking about mixing the good and the bad like some crazy potion that would ride us off into the sunset. That\u2019s how “Libralicious” came to life: Libra + delicious. I made that one up. Catchy, right?<\/p>\n
