Growing up, most of my friends used to rap, and we all made music for fun as kids. When I decided to release music again, it felt natural rather than like I was chasing a career\u2014it\u2019s something I\u2019ve always done. I believe you should spend your life doing things you enjoy, and I enjoy creating art. I\u2019m just grateful people connect with it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How would you describe your sound in a way that sets you apart from the crowd, and why do you think it resonates with listeners?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I think the main thing that defines my sound is honesty. Being honest leaves room for experimentation. When I\u2019m creating, it always flows easily because I\u2019m just being myself. With that honesty comes connection. We often feel like we\u2019re the only ones going through something, but as soon as someone\u2019s brave enough to be open, we realise we\u2019re all dealing with the same things.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Your new EP, Dreams, is making waves on all major platforms! Can you take us behind the scenes of its creation and share the story or feelings that inspired it?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dreams came about when I took a step back and reflected on everything around me. I\u2019ve been enjoying releasing music since 2019, but when you\u2019re in the moment, you don\u2019t always see the bigger picture. When I looked at what I\u2019d achieved\u2014from projects to live shows\u2014it made me think about how far we could take things. Around the same time, Offbeats sent me a pack, and I immediately knew I\u2019d create something special. After seven months of ups and downs, we released Dreams.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"border-radius: 12px;\" src=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/embed\/album\/1OlOD7faYnGPLkNvzIwS4a?utm_source=generator\" width=\"100%\" height=\"352\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Out of all the songs you\u2019ve written, which one holds the deepest meaning for you, and what\u2019s the story behind its emotional connection?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Definitely \u00c0 bient\u00f4t. That was the first song I released when I started putting out music again. Dropping it created a wave of positive energy around me, and everyone close to me at the time\u2014those who supported the journey\u2014loved that track. It also felt like a weight off my shoulders, as many of my friends had been encouraging me to release music again for a long time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Striking a chord with your audience while staying true to your artistry can be tricky\u2014how do you navigate that balance?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s funny, but I never consider the audience when I\u2019m creating. I don\u2019t think about how to make people like my music; I just immerse myself in my world and make what I feel. Luckily, it works because it\u2019s a very unorthodox approach. I\u2019m my own biggest fan, so I just assume everyone will love my music as much as I do (laughs).<\/p>\n<p><strong>What has been the most unforgettable or career-defining moment for you so far, and how did it shape you as an artist?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I\u2019d have to say the Rek\u2019s and The Mandem performance\u2014big up Rek\u2019s and the mandem, literally! The energy was insane from the first 10 seconds. Seeing how the crowd reacted, especially since they\u2019d never heard my songs before, was an incredible feeling. It\u2019s easy to get distracted by the end goal\u2014record deals, fame, etc.\u2014but that\u2019s when you start compromising your sound and acting in ways that fast-track success rather than staying true to yourself. The most important thing is to remain authentic and stick to your vision: creating amazing, personal art.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What exciting projects or goals do you have on the horizon, and how are you preparing to level up your artistry?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m releasing a project this summer called 3Me. Some of the songs on it are my best work yet, and I\u2019m really excited to finish it. I took a break from production to get Dreams out, but now that it\u2019s done, I\u2019m fully focused on 3Me.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lastly, is there anything you\u2019d love to share with your supporters or something on your heart that we haven\u2019t touched on?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I just want to say thank you. Releasing music has always been a personal, therapeutic outlet for me.
